How to store your homemade beer brewed with a beer brewing kit: practical tips for a delicious beer

Once you have brewed your own homemade beer with a beer brewing kit, it is important to store it properly to enjoy its flavor and aroma for as long as possible. In this article, we will give you practical tips for storing beer brewed with a DIY beer kit.



  1. Storage: Beer should be stored in a cool and dark place, ideally at a temperature of 10 - 15°C. UV rays can alter the flavor of the beer, so it is best to store it in a dark place.

  2. Position: It is essential to store beer bottles upright rather than lying down, as this can lead to the formation of sediment that affects the flavor and texture of the beer.

  3. Shelf life: The shelf life of beer depends on the type of beer and how it has been stored. Generally, light beers brewed with a beer brewing kit have a shorter shelf life than darker and stronger beers brewed with a beer brewing kit. Stronger beers brewed with a beer brewing kit can be stored for months or even years if stored under optimal conditions.

  4. Serving temperature: It is important to serve beer brewed with a beer brewing kit at the right temperature to enjoy its flavors and aromas.
